Yanling’s professional career expands across both academia and industry. Currently Yanling leads design teams at Facebook, helping to make meaningful connections between people and businesses. She’s passionate about turning a complex system into products that brings value and delight to customers. Before that, Yanling drove the design for Microsoft Office for iPhone, iPad and Mac at Microsoft. On the academia side, Yanling was teaching at University of Cincinnati and San Jose State University, helping young talents grow as designers. Her design and research have been published in books and journals and she has presented at national and international conferences.
